Absence d’ascenseur
Le bâtiment a été construit en 1863 et ne contient aucun ascenseur. Les chambres du 2e, 3e et 4e étage ne sont accessibles que par des escaliers.

Extremely satisfied with our stay! Super clean and no issues with check in. Super straight forward. Amazing location. Came for Igloofest and was just a 5 min walk away! Surrounded by many boutiques and restaurants. Couldn’t ask for anything else!

It's always lovely to stay in the beautiful Old Port and be within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and local attractions. The building is a walk up, so if your on the top floor, be prepared for stairs. The room was spacious and comfortable for two people, with a king size bed and kitchenette. We had a lot of fun while visiting and really enjoyed our stay here. Can't wait to go back!

This was a great place to stay right in old Montreal. The room was clean and felt like a nice hotel. The area had great restaurants of all kinds. Louis was responsive during the duration of our trip.

We were promised help to get to the well documented, elevator-free, 4th floor. We never saw anyone other than renters during our stay. There was a major tease with a luggage elevator that was locked 24/7 and that no one could access…we had major luggage because we were there for a big function and that was certainly a let down. However, the location is fantastic; the styling is great and the cleanliness, bedding, bathroom, etc. are all fabulous! Being so close to St-Paul and public (paid-$50/day) parking is unbeatable!

Our stay with Louis was amazing! The hotel was very central, located in Old Port so we were able to walk around easily. The unit itself was spotless and spacious, and everything was very modern. Louis and his team were very responsive and answered any questions or concerns we had very promptly. There were a lot of stairs so be mindful, but for us it was no issue. We also got to keep our luggage at the hotel after checkout while we grabbed lunch before heading back home, which was very accommodating. Overall, we got amazing value for what we paid for! Would stay again!

We loved our stay at Arcadia Hotel Boutique. It was very easy to find once we arrived in Montreal. For parking, we highly recommend the "clicknpark" app – we booked 3.5 days in nearby indoor garage for about $42 (USD) total. The hotel lobby and common areas were very clean and nice looking. We were on the 4th floor, so did a lot of stair-climbing, but it was good exercise after the fabulous meals. The room was well-sized, though not enormous, with an amazing view of the water. It was surprisingly quiet, a function of the quiet streets but also the double windows (the old original windows and then the new windows inside). Blackout curtain was great. Bathroom very functional with a terrific shower. Great to have a small sink, fridge, microwave and plates. Ingested a lot of delicious Nespresso mini-coffees, thanks for all those pods! Comfy bed & pillows. Louis reached out a couple times to make sure everything was OK (and it was!). We will definitely return to this unique hotel!

Had such a wonderful stay at the Arcadia. One of the most comfortable beds I have EVER slept in! Wish there was access to the luggage elevator at all hours as the unit is on the 4th floor, or else it is such a beautiful building, in a great location, and a comfortable unit.

The unit was beautiful
The unit was beautiful. The location was beautiful the robe and the slippers that were left for the renters was a nice touch. I would say it was a 10 out of 10. The only thing I have an issue with was the lock at the front. We were locked out of the building twice in the cold, but because the host was very accommodating and got us in the building quick I was happy about that, other than that it was a beautiful place to stay I would just suggest fixing the front door lock as this isn’t the first review I see with this issue.

La ubicación excelente, se puede ir caminando a los todos los lugares turísticos, hay muchos restaurantes y bares en los alrededores.
En cuanto al departamento todo excelente desde la limpieza hasta la comunicación con Louis. Lo recomiendo 100% y si llegamos a volver volvería a elegirlo otra vez.

Nous avions vu sur les quais qui accueillent une bâtisse pour le centre des sciences et une bâtisse pour les croisières ALM et tour du port.
avec toutes les lumières de ces bâtisses aucune vue possible du fleuve... la vue sur la ville était sûrement plus intéressante.

We stayed here for a long weekend trip to Montreal and we LOVED this apartment! The building is in a very convenient and walkable area in Old Montreal, we loved being able to step right outside and be immediately in the action. Check in was easy, the place was very clean (they came every day for room cleaning as well!), and it was beautiful inside. Loved the modern feel in an older building and all the branded items in the room made it feel extra high end. No issues with the bed and the black out curtains were wonderful. Our only real "issue" was nowhere to put our toiletries in the shower (a minor thing), but the shower itself was wonderful - super hot water and loved the rain shower head. Going up the 3 flights of stairs to this top floor room wasn't ideal, but we knew what we signed up for. Overall, this place is most definitely worth the money and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Old Montreal!

The location was PERFECT
The location was PERFECT! After walking all around the downtown area, I can confidently say that we LOVED this neighborhood the BEST! Louis’s place was so clean and more spacious than I was even expecting! The view over the water was so lovely. One block over from Rue St. Paul with tons of shops, restaurants, are galleries, coffee shops, bars. Next to museums and extremely near the Notre-Dame Basilica. The only things to note is that there are no elevators… so the day we left very early we had to carry our heavy luggage down four (double) flights of stairs (they brought it up the day of our arrival) and the people above us were very loud and you could hear them clearly through the walls. Other than that, this place was truly a wonderful stay. I would 100% recommend this based on the neighborhood (the best!), cleanliness, amenities and price were exceptional. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!!

Positive: When I needed staff, they assisted rather quickly. While it is strange not having a greeter at the desk during business hours, they responded to questions about room temperature and a problem with my door lock.
Negative: It would be nice to have a person at the desk, even for a few hours during the days. Also, it seems there is a small lift to send luggage upstairs, and since I was on the 4th floor, that would have been helpful to use.

One day the cleaners left dirty dishes in the sink and a box of coffee pods open on the counter. Other than that it was great. We appreciated being able to do our own laundry.

Le matin, il était impossible de sortir de la bâtisse, et j'ai dû les appeler, ce qui a pris au minimum 20 minutes.
Ce qui est inconcevable. La réponse que j'ai reçue était que les portes se déverrouillent plus tard, car les gens partent généralement plus tard.
J'ai donc été en retard à mon événement.
En y repensant, je crois qu'il serait important pour les hôtes de régler ce souci car ce n'est pas très sécuritaire.

Negative: Pas d'ascenseur. Nous n'avions pas reçu les instructions pour accéder à l'immeuble, il n'y avait pas de personnel sur place, et nous avons dû les contacter plusieurs fois par téléphone pour obtenir les informations. Cela dit, le personnel au téléphone était très sympathique. Assurez-vous simplement d'avoir toutes les informations avant d'arriver.

Negative: Steep steps into property, and steep stairs to 4th (top) floor, so this accommodation isn't suitable for anyone who struggles with mobility. There's an elevator for luggage (great idea!) but it's only available if staff in building (which is intermittent).
Bathroom needs a surface near sink to place toiletries, makeup/shaving tackle.

I had a wonderful stay at Arcadia Boutique Hotel. Louis answered all my questions and was a great host. The place was in a PERFECT location in Old Montreal and was super clean. Only downside is no elevator and it’s a workout going up to the top floor. However the luggage service is a huge help. Will definitely come back

The host was quite responsive to us and we were able to get in, ultimately, without a problem. We would stay here again without question. The hotel itself is a beautiful renovated original port building, with spectacular stonework on the outer facing. Inside has been tactfully modernized to provide guests with all modern conveniences, and with tastefully selected appliances, furniture and furnishings.
Having nice touches like full black-out curtains really helps with sleeping, the best is extremely comfortable, and everything else has been chosen for convenience and ease of use.
Fair warning for guests with some mobility issues: choose a lower down floor to stay on because you will be walking flights of stairs to your room. There is a luggage elevator but I believe it has to be turned on to work.

The place is beautiful. The location is stellar. We had a top floor unit with a wonderful view of Old Montreal port. It was a heck of a walk up the stairs but well worth the effort. The place is very well condtructed. Very soundproof and quiet. You hardly hear your neighbours. Very private.

it was an ideal space in the heart of Old Montreal, and it was really very comfortable. nice Nespresso machine. it was quite there, which was a nice surprise as I expected a bit of noise given that this is in center of the biggest tourist draw of Montreal. Check out was easy. the bed, linen, and pillows were great. there was a refrigerator and you could buy some groceries and make meals there (I did not do this as there are far too many great places to eat and explore). This was, by far, the best value for the money and I will highly recommend this to others and likely stay here again when I return to Montreal for business, which is often. Just an outstanding experience. It exceeded my expectations.

Negative: Didn’t love the lack of hangers for clothes, and the area was a bit noisy with loud club music outside. A white noise machine and/or earplugs fixed the noise level, though.

Nous avons eu la chambre avec de petites fenêtres donnant sur la ruelle avec des travaux de construction. Bien que la description de l'annonce fasse discrètement mention que la chambre ne sera peut-être pas celle sur l'image, avec le prix payé nous avions à coeur d'obtenir une chambre avec une meilleure vue. Tout le reste était impeccable: merveilleuse chambre et emplacement idéal.

The recommended parking app worked great as well and easy to walk to. We will definitely be back here when we return to Montreal and will suggest this as a stay to friends and family :).

Negative: The marble floors while very beautiful don't bode well in the shower where they start to get slippery. Overall the hotel seemed clean however, one of the bathrobes had a hair on it, that didn't belong to us and unfortunately puts into question the overall cleanliness.

Positive: When we were informed that we would be on the fourth floor I contacted the property. They do not have an elevator I requested assistance to get our luggage up the stairs since we are elderly.
The man on the phone said there would be a person at the property to help. Which there was.
Later I received a call from the property telling us that they were putting us on the second floor since we would be so tired from walking all day. It was a pleasant surprise and very much appreciated. The staff and personnel on the phone were just amazing and kind.
The apartment was very clean. The stocking of the kitchenette was very well thought out.

Great location, has everything you need .Thins to note.. Wear comfortable shoes especially if you are on the top floor, lots of stairs . They do have a luggage elevator. On a busy street. Staff is wonderful. Nesspresso coffee, robs, slippers, complimentary umbrella, and shopping bag. This boutique hotel has lots of nice touches. A few things to improve on. ..but all in all ...we would definitely stay here again.

Had an absolutely amazing stay at the Arcadia Hotel - the unit was exactly as pictured, very clean, and easy to access. It was right in the heart of old Montreal and within walking distance of so many restaurants, bars, and fun things to do. The area felt safe, however parking in the area was a bit difficult - we ended up parking a couple blocks away at the Center for Science (about a 5-7 minute walk away). The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, so comfortable! There is no elevator, so you'll have to take the stairs to the unit. Overall, this unit was perfect for our trip - we would definitely recommend it!

Beautiful place to stay with many extras. Even offered umbrellas in the lobby for bad weather. Soap, lotion, dish soap, laundry detergent- all given. Great view of the harbor. The arched windows and exposed brick were gorgeous and the unit was nicely furnished. I appreciated the multiple texts and quick responses from Louis. He was a great host. We loved our night in Montreal.

Louis provided a good amount of information to help out with check in, but the place is very overpriced. The doorway was difficult for people with large baggages to enter and the elevator needed an appointment to start up since it needed to be operated by a service person, which wasn't clear at all. When the issue occured Louis was trying hard to help and he was being nice but they couldn't really do anything to solve it. Admittably it was at the middle of the night but they did promise a 24h service and the price was over 300 USD per night. It was only natural to expect more!

We had a fantastic stay at Arcadia Hotel Boutique! The location is unbeatable—everything is within walking distance, from restaurants to shops, to the Notre Dame church. The room was beautiful, and with the weather being 27-30 degrees during our stay, the AC was a lifesaver. It was so nice to come back to a cool room after a day of exploring. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to get a great night’s sleep. It took a bit of getting used to opening the main door, but the staff was always available and answered every time I called for help. They were also kind enough to hold our bags for 5 hours after checkout, allowing us to explore more of the city before heading to the airport. While there’s no elevator, just stairs, we didn’t mind at all. The hotel is surprisingly quiet, despite being right in the middle of downtown. There’s some room for improvement since it’s a newer place, but it’s worth every penny. I’d definitely stay here again!

We had no problem getting around and Louis was quick with comms and recommendations. The bed was like sleeping in a cloud. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Negative: L’accès au logement n’est pas clair, il n’y a pas de réception. Nous avons appelé à plusieurs reprises le numéro sans réponse. Nous avons donc contacté Booking et tout est rentré dans l’ordre.
Il n’y a pas d’ascenseur. Le monte bagages n’était pas fonctionnel malheureusement, avec 4 valises ça aurait été pratique.

Positive: Very clean & modern fixtures/furnishings. Bathrobe and slippers provided. Plush towels. Comfy bed and soft pillows. Kitchenette was well stocked with coffee maker, tea kettle, glasses, plates. It even had sale and pepper and olive oil. Hallways and lobby very clean. Umbrellas provided for rainy days. Staff was very kind and responsive to messages and very requests. The air conditioning was powerful for the hot summer night. The doors are code entry so you don’t have to carry a key around. TV allowed you to log into your Netflix. Wifi worked mostly fine in our room. Location is awesome! Right near the ports. Close to all restaurants and shopping. Parking across the St was $25 USD per day.
Negative: No elevator- which would have been ok because there is a luggage elevator but we were on the 4th floor in the one room that only had views of buildings. So we got all of the stairs and none of the view. The second night we could hear the beat of music playing in a bar until 3am. It was in the distance and I was able to sleep through it but had I been on a lower floor it would have been too loud for me. Ear plugs could remedy that. It’s the price you pay for good location.

All honesty room itself was good Pricey but great. It was a walk up so please understand you’re going up 4 flights that i don’t mind. Room was nice. Clean. The bathroom sink made no sense no room to put anything on so my fiancé struggled. And ended up using the sink in the bedroom to get ready the whole trip . Besides that room was fine. Located near all the action. The host was a nightmare. In my opinion i never had a more inconsiderate host. We had a death in the family 2 days after i booked and immediately messaged to reschedule or find a solution. ( funeral was same weekend i was supposed to go) they were willing to move it but price jumped over 50%. It was either pay more or lose everything no chance of refund. Now i would understand if the whole month was booked up and he is doing me a favor. But no only one day was booked the whole month! No compassion no reasoning and when i wanted to work something out responses took days !!! Next time ill stay at top hotels

We had a fantastic one week stay in the Acadia
We had a fantastic one week stay in the Acadia. Louis was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. As mentioned this is a 4 storey walk up, and we stayed in room 404, which is on the corner with a view into the back alley and side street. It’s a 59 stair climb, but they do have a baggage lift which helped. My wife and I are in our 50’s and were able to handle the stairs without stopping for a rest on the way up, so it’s manageable. The room was bright and extremely clean. The bed was fabulous and super comfortable, and pillows were like new.
We had a minor issue when the shower quit draining, but Louis had that looked after before we got back from brunch! This place is in the middle of all the action and walkable to all the major attractions. We highly recommend “Aura” which is an amazing light show in the Notre Dame Basilica which is a 5 minute walk away. They offer nightly shows at 6 and 8 Pm and includes admission to look around after. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Positive: Check in process was very easy online, staff was responsive. We liked the room, AC worked great during heat wave to keep us comfortable. Equipment is top notch, everything is new, kitchen equipped with everything necessary, nice TV and comfortable bed.
Location is also great, it is quiet at night for this type of neighbourhood and it's really right in old town with a lot of tourist destinations like St. Paul street and bunch of nice restaurants. It is also around 8 minutes from Metro station, so it's really easy to access other parts of the city. To get to the place from airport we took 747 bus and it was 10 minute walk from the stop to the place.
Negative: We wish it was possible to open windows in our room. Sometimes room got really humid especially after taking a shower and AC was not enough to bring it to comfortable level quickly, although AC does have dehumidify option.

L’emplacement est top, il est vraiment sur le vieux port, la vue est très agréable.
Negative: L’ascenseur à bagages n’était pas en service, 4 étages avec 25kg de bagages ce n’est pas très agréable.

Positive: We really enjoyed our stay at Arcadia hotel. Everything was new and very clean. The hotel had just recently been opened (a week before) and every detail in the room was thought of. The kitchen is the most equipped kitchen I have seen in a hotel. The bathroom offers full size shower products. The view is breathtaking with the large windows and the room is very spacious even though it wasn’t a suite, it was a king room. The only negative thing I would say is the absence of an elevator and made going up to our room in the fourth floor quite difficult. So if you’re not comfortable with that, try to book a room in the lower levels. But if you have luggage, there is a small luggage elevator that you could use. Otherwise everything else was exceptional. Would definitely recommend!
