Positive: Arcadia was a great location, clean, updated, spacious, unit 303 had views on the River which I requested. The staff were so friendly and responsive. The air conditioning worked great which was needed on the extremely hot days we visited Montreal. The shampoo and soap products in the unit were so luxurious and made my hair and skin feel so healthy, that I went to Ruby Brown directly in the city to purchase all the products. Love them!
I would definitely stay here again next time in Montreal.
Negative: The tile in the shower was too slippery, needs a bathmat. When I mentioned this to Benjamin, he said they’re working on a solution to that and in the meantime he would provide extra towels we could put on the shower floor to keep from slipping. That worked.

Probably the nicest place we've ever stayed. Definitely would book again. A review for the room alone will not fully describe the experience we had during our stay, but the room facilitated the truly incredible experience we had being on our vacation. It was clean, beautiful, more than we expected but everything we could have possibly needed or asked for.

The location is unbeatable … right in the heart of the action but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. The view from our room was absolutely stunning, and the space itself was stylish, comfortable, and quiet …perfect for a relaxing getaway.
Louis was a true pleasure to deal with …responsive, honest, and professional throughout. He made everything easy and seamless, answering all of our questions in a timely manner.
We are already looking forward to coming back. Such a beautiful little vacation … thank you for making it so special!

I stayed at this property while in Montreal on business– and it was in a fantastic location for walking/ exploring
I stayed at this property while in Montreal on business-- and it was in a fantastic location for walking/ exploring. I didn't take a vehicle to the property, so I cannot comment on parking, however, in this area of Montreal I don't think you'd even need a car. Walkable, with bike check out across the street, plenty of dining/ cocktailing options. I wouldn't 'knock' any points off for this, but the shower is slick and on a slight decline. I was fine, but someone with mobility issues may need to take some care and caution.
I would return to this property in the future, and look forward to on a future trip to Montreal.

Positive: The room was massive, extremely spacious and very well kitted out with everything you could possibly need. Well designed, modern and generally just a great room ! Allowed us a later check out the which was kind. Staff were very co-operative on the chat feature any time we needed help.
Negative: On arrival we could not find any staff, however after messaging via booking.com, this was quickly resolved.
Sink area in bathroom had no hand soap
Could only store bags until 5PM after check out as staff are not on site beyond this. Not an issue if you plan well, just meant we had to go to the airport 5 hours before our flight.
After booking we were directed to a deposit holding sight called truvi, which is a third party site. It was fine however, truvi charged a non-refundable £6.00 fee for this, which was a small hidden cost.

Our stay at this Airbnb in Old Port, Montreal, was absolutely fantastic. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of the historic district, with cobblestone streets, charming cafés, and the waterfront just steps away. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance, from beautiful architecture and boutique shops to great restaurants and museums.
The apartment itself was spotless, stylish, and very comfortable. It had all the amenities we needed, including a well-stocked kitchen, strong Wi-Fi, and cozy linens. The natural light and exposed brick added a warm and authentic touch that made it feel like a home away from home.
Our host was responsive and welcoming, offering great local tips and making check-in and check-out smooth and easy. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and the care that went into making our stay so enjoyable.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable experience in Montreal.

I really enjoyed my stay at Arcadia Hotel. We had a beautiful view of the water. We were steps away from restaurants and Bota Bota spa. There was nice quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash that smelled amazing and daily cleaning just like a hotel where you would come back to your room and the bed was made. Five star stay.

I would definitely recommend this listing to anyone looking to stay in the Old Port. Prime location close to everything and was especially convenient for our visit to Notre Dame Basilica which was a short walk up the street. The room was beautiful with the high windows and a great view of the port, the natural light made the space even better. Be prepared to walk up stairs as there’s no elevator in the building, it’s stated in the listing, but just an extra FYI for anyone who might have mobility issues. I’ll absolutely look to rebook this listing for my next visit!

Fantastic location if you want to be close to Old Montreal! There are plenty of great restaurants and things to do within walking distance, making it a perfect spot for exploring the area. The Airbnb itself was comfortable, stylish, well-equipped. However, parking can be tricky, so this place is best suited for those without a car or who don’t mind using public transportation.

Lovely space that’s in a really great location. Everything you need all within a short walk. We stayed during the winter and it was pretty quiet overall, could imagine it being fairly loud at night during the summer.

This treasure of Montreal was the perfect escape. I came during a time of a heavy snowstorm and everything was toasty and beautiful in this charming historical bliss of a space. Everyone was warm and friendly which made my first time in Montreal less stressed. Highly recommend to everyone to stay here!

As a side note, we did receive a parking ticket as we did not correctly read the sign across the street that you need a visitor permit, there is parking at many different parking spaces nearby, so I recommend that you use those as it will be cheaper than the ticket 😊

I have visited multiple hotels and BNBs but none could match the Arcadia Boutique. If you want to visit Montreal I would highly suggest this to stay. Beautiful room. Everything is clean and looked like a luxurious hotel and room. You can find everything nearby at walking distance of 5-10 minutes tops. Cafes, food, shopping, places to visit(museums, notre dam church and many more) is nearby. Louis has been a wonderful host and was always responsive and helped me with everything needed within minutes.
One of the reason I am coming back again to Montreal is this stay I have had. I stayed here for 5 days and each day was comfortable and to the best of experience!

Would highly recommend this Airbnb for a couple staying in Montreal for a long weekend! We wanted to stay in Old Montreal given the walkability and access to local bars/restaurants and were very impressed with this location. It was in the best area of the city and easily accessible to others as well by public transportation or bike. The place itself was beautiful, very neat and comfortable. It was spacious enough for my husband and I, and very cozy. We were very impressed that there was housekeeping services such as daily bed-making and changing of towels, which you do not typically get with an Airbnb! This was an incredible stay and would definitely return.

It was lovely staying here for a quick overnight trip to Montreal. The room was just like the pictures, very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and it had a bunch of kitchen equipment that you wouldn't normally find in a hotel. It is in a great location for Old Town and is very walkable to a bunch of activities and restaurants. Parking was a bit expensive, but was close by and easy to find. We would definitely recommend Arcadia to our friends and would love to stay again the next time we are in the area.

There were several restaurants right outside the building too. The room was beautiful, well-appointed and the view absolutely beautiful. This would be a great place for an extended stay!

Louis and the Arcadia hotel are both amazing. The room looks exactly like the photos, the view is amazing and check in was an absolute breeze. While there isn’t a “traditional” front desk, Louis was able to coordinate early drop off of my luggage with the on-site staff ahead of my check in. I was a bit in between hotels at the moment, and they were even able to get me into my room nearly 2 hours ahead of the posted check in time! The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of old Montreal, with tons of shops, restaurants, bars etc. right outside the door. 10/10 across the board, would absolutely stay here again.

Negative: The shower floor was extremely slippery. We had to put a towel in the shower to prevent any falls. Before doing this, my wife and I nearly fell in the shower.

This was our first visit to Montreal for us, and the Hotel Arcadia might be my favorite AirBnB place to stay so far. Louis and the on-site staff are friendly, attentive, and professional. The Arcadia is an adaptive re-use of a warehouse built in 1865, so there are stairs, but no elevator, but there is a dumbwaiter to bring your luggage up. The entrance, lobby, and main stairs as well as the rooms are tastefully designed, comfortable, and well branded...everything promised on AirBNB!
To top things off, our room had a wonderful view to the Vieux Port Quay, cruise ship docs, museum, and Ferris wheel, with Bucky Fuller's Expo 67 geodesic sphere, and Moshe Safde's Habitat 67 across the St. Lawrence river.
The location is close to Vieux Montreal, the Basilica, and the Place D'Armes Metro line. And there are Bixi bikes directly across the street from the entrance, with bike paths running along the quay that make it super easy and fun to go almost anywhere.

Negative: Main Entry door was sometimes sticky. Room temperature was hard to regulate. Host was slow to respond to questions/ requests. I mistook that the chair pictured in ad was a futon and there was no option for cot or extra bedding.

Louis’ place was in a fantastic location. The view from our 3rd floor room was stunning. We loved that the area was walkable with lots of places to shop and eat.
The room was clean, beautiful, comfortable and well appointed with a kitchenette and even robes and slippers.
Lots of nice little touches.
While there is no parking on premises, it is easy to park at the Science Center nearby. Please note that some parking spots are small so you might want to bring a smaller vehicle.
Also note there is no elevator but it was not an issue for us. We don’t mind stairs.
We would gladly stay again.

We enjoyed our stay and would go again. Very clean and just like the pictures. Comfortable bed and the slippers/robes were a nice touch. Great location and instructions on parking. The washer/dryer is shared on the floor but we didn't need to do any laundry. It's also on the third floor with no elevator (I enjoyed the walk up and down the stairs but just sharing for individuals with mobility issues). That said, the third floor made for a great view! Our host was responsive and we got clear automated instructions for easy self check-in. I also felt really safe. The place was modern but also had Old Montreal amazing character. Highly recommend!

Old Montreal with easy access to many things around the area. I barely had to use my car due to the walkable area surrounding the Airbnb. As soon as you walk out theres good restaurants, parks and beautiful places to take nice pictures. Louis was very responsive and even went ahead and shared some local spots that may be worth trying and it was spot ON!! This place is perfect for a couple or single traveler. Additionally if you love have a beautiful bathroom this is the place!! the water pressure and temperature was great. FYI they also offer bathrobes and sandals!!. Overall 10/10 !!!

Mon nouvel hôtel préféré en ville. Les communications ont été courtoises et faciles. L'entrée autonome était bien détaillée et facile d'utilisation.

This boutique hotel was lovely! Very European looking, clean with everything you could need including housecoats and a very comfy bed. The location was right in the heart of old port Montreal so you could walk to restaurants and attractions very close by. Louis was very responsive to any questions we had. I would highly recommend this stay and will go again when we find ourselves in Montreal.

Amazing and gorgeous place! Would go back. For their well appointed rooms, beautiful design and warm, helpful courteous staff (cleaning lady, and Benjamin, homme a tout faire, as well as a patient gentleman whom I reached on the phone when I called for help). The room was spacious and tidy and it had everything in the kitchen if one wants to do a meal; the bed was extremely comfortable and a big plus: the AC was quiet :). Our view was absolutely unparalleled. We could see the old port and everything behind it. The architecture of the building and room is just splendid!

It’s right on the port and easy walking distance to all things around the port! Parking options are good and reasonable for a big city (Louis provided the ClickNPark suggestion and glad he did …because it is come & go parking for a reasonable daily rate!!).
Loved the charm and character of the building and the modernization of the interior. Our room was gorgeous, comfortable and well equipped. Staff went above & beyond to provide assistance and amenities (Benjamin walked with me through the rain to help haul luggage - so kind and friendly!!)
When I return to Montreal, this boutique hotel is where I shall rest between explorations!!

Never going to rent any other place but this one! We stayed with my wife and we loved everything, but most importantly for us was the cleanness we found here. We had plans to cook during our stay and we found everything a small kitchen needs. However, we end up enjoying all the restaurants that are around and at walking distance. Lots of areas to park close by. We loved the nice view to the waterfront through the large windows. Definitely we will stay here again when in MTL!

What a beautiful place to stay in Montreal! I'm so glad we chose this. Louis was very responsive and provided all the information we needed to easily park and get into our room. And what a gorgeous room it was! Large windows, comfortable bed, nice kitchenette with Nespresso, and a clean, modern bathroom. Very easy walk to Notre Dame Basilica and the surrounding areas. We would definitely choose to stay here again!

Absolutely amazing stay
Absolutely amazing stay. Felt much more like a hotel than an Air B n B (in the best way). Louis was extremely responsive and the instruction couldn't have been more clear. I didn't have the best cell service so I was worried in case I had issues, but everything he sent ahead of time made it extremely easy.
The location is wonderful, I walked to everything and even took the bus from the airport and walked from the stop here (about 15 minutes). It is right across the street from the old harbor and next to plenty of beautiful restaurants. If you walk inland there are blocks and blocks of charming restaurants.
Everything was spotless and the design aesthetic is stunning. They have a well-stocked kitchen (bring your own spices, bottled water, sugar etc.) and extremely soft linens. I last minute asked Louis if there was somewhere to keep my luggage for the day I was flying out, and he let me keep it in the room since no one was checking in that day. So accommodating - thank you so much!

This was the best stay we’ve ever had in Montreal!! The room was exceptionally clean, spacious and tastefully furnished with everything you might need. The check-in was also seamless. Location wise, you couldn’t ask for a better place. Finally, the view from the room is absolutely incredible! With its large arched windows, you have the best front row seat to the Old Port of Montreal in the most comfortable of settings.
I can’t say enough positive comments about our experience. Not only was Louis the host responsive and clear in the instructions given about the room/stay, but he also notified us when the room was ready in order to tend to our request to check in earlier. This has officially become our new go-to place to stay at in Montreal, without a doubt! Thank you!
